Abstract

Nemamyxine kreffti is a rare species, known from a few specimens collected from southern
Brazil to northern Argentina. In Brazil, data available are not sufficient, as only two specimens
have been collected. Bottom trawling is a threat to the species, but we cannot confidently verify
its distribution range based on a few number of records. Nemamyxine kreffti has therefore been
categorized as Data Deficient (DD).
