Abstract

We report the presence of a White-faced Ibis Plegadis chihi individual with aberrant colour classified as albinism. It was recorded in the urban environment around the Carijós Ecological Station, Florianopolis, SC, Brazil, during the monitoring of aquatic birds breeding areas associated with mangroves.
